NR International and ITDG held a two-day international development policy seminar on the role of agriculture, non-farm enterprise and market access in achieving pro-poor growth in rural areas. The seminar was directed towards raising the profile of the research in these areas and using this to influence development policy and donor practice. It was held in London on the 28 February and 1 March 2005, and brought together policy-makers, researchers and field practitioners from the market development and natural resource management sectors.
Hard copies of the proceedings 'Beyond Agriculture - making markets work for the poor: proceedings of an international seminar 28 February - 1 March 2005, Westminster, London, UK.
